Corona

Corona

I should probably save this kind of thing for the winter when I don't want to go outside now that I think about it - oh well, too late.

Update:
Oh, and I'm definitely getting Adobe Lightroom soon, academic pricing is pretty good...

  1. Love, love, love the close ups! Like how you played with the depth of field also. That said, good ideas for cold rainy/snowy winter post :)

  2. I love shallow depth of field shots... very nice. Is that your typewriter? I love that image.

  3. Thanks guys! The typewriter belongs to my wife, long story, but never really used by her. It was left behind in an old house her father purchased way back in the late 60s/early 70s when it was already an antique.

  4. I like shallow DOFs too. Although I have never actually tried anything like this... I really should, I know it's good practice.

When I last moved house, I left an old 1920's typewriter as a nice surprise to the new owner! (To be honest it was so heavy and was collecting dust)

  5. I wished I hadn't given it away now.

  6. Funny how almost anything you discard (nonperishable, of course) can eventually become something that you regret not keeping...
