This one is pushing the definition of "color." Black, white, gray, & beige do not count as colors for the purpose of the assignment, but the black has a bluish quality and the fire escape is a little beyond beige, so I'm going with it.
Nice image Mike, sorry for not commenting on your other images, which by the way I love... I have been working long hours and I haven't spent enough time on the internet.... Crisp clear shots I love them
This is a nice image. I like how everything on the building is painted exactly same colour. Also, considering I design this kind of thing sometimes, that stair landing does not look safe!
Thanks guys, and no worries, Gerry - I'm swamped at work myself - haven't shot anything this week, all of these are from last weekend. Looking forward to getting out again this weekend.
Bill - I think this was originally meant as a temporary structure, it has an aluminum utility shed quality to it...
Its funny how so many 'temporary' structures last forever. There is a 'temporary' steel road bridge near where I live, which was built in the 1960s. It is like a rickety road bridge, and I drive over it quite often. Apparently it was supposed to be replaced by a concrete smoothe bridge about thirty years ago!
So true, one of the saddest things in the city is so many school playgrounds were taken over by "temporary structures" to accommodate growing populations. Of course the temporary structures never come down and the playgrounds are gone forever, essentially.
