Not that there's anything wrong with that, they are by the river where there was some flooding nearby, and the storm could have been worse. But still, the irony didn't escape me.
The guy in the orange jacket was a bonus, I didn't see him coming till I had already decided to take the picture of the security guard. Lucky me, the guard covered his face and the other guy makes it interesting anyway.
I always enjoy markets. For shopping and photography. (I will post some of my market shots one day). They are a great place for characters, actions, noises and colour.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm glad your storm has come and gone, and you're all okay. But it is good once in a while for mother nature to give us a scare and put everything into perspective. Anyway, it gives us something new to talk about, instead of moaning about governments, football results, and traffic.
Nice shot btw. Capturing irony in signs and texts is always fun. The guy in orange looks like he is just wandering very slowly, maybe waiting around. Security guard must be bored.
The caption says it all..... and Bill I love your take on this and life. When I read your blog or comments for some reason I attach the voice of Dumbledore from Harry Potter... LIke you he is a wise man.
ReplyDeleteFootball season is about to start... Go JETS!!!!! sorry Mike
Well, since I didn't grow up in the NY area, I have little deep affection for any of the New York Teams - and as a Dolphins fan, I have to hate the Jets - sorry! :-)
