m is for me

m is for me

Part of a new photography club assignment to find environmental stuctures, manmade or natural, that resemble letters of the alphabet. This is the best example I could do in a hurry. As a bonus (or a distraction, depending on how you look at it) my reflection is in the glass and my first initial is of course M.

  1. Hey Mike, I like it, very creative on your part and I like your reflection in the mirror. Where did you take this shot?

  2. Thanks, Gerry - this is part of the Belvedere Hotel right across the street from my school, on 48th street in Manhattan.

  4. Thanks George - an "A" lol...

Actually I'm the one giving the assignment to my high school photography club, I just needed an example to show them what I was talking about.

  5. Interesting architectural features to this building... a real mish-mash of borrowed ideas from older architectural styles. A touch of art noveau, classical, with humour of barley twist columns and playful windows. This is the kind of style seen on seaside hotels in England.
