Henry Hudson Parkway

Henry Hudson Parkway

This is from a few weeks ago. We had another dreary cloudy rainy day. By the time I'm free to go for a walk it's too dark to get much going.  This is the Henry Hudson Parkway as it goes under the ramp to the George Washington Bridge. I know what I like about this shot now, which I couldn't put my finger on before, but I'll wait to see if anyone else mentions it.

  1. I don't no what you like but I like the absolute other scale of the bridge against the housing and the quietness of what must be otherwise a busy road by the size of it.

  2. Like s.c. says and as I've observed about previous images of yours; the quietness and moment of stillness you've managed to capture in a generally noisy, busy environment. Also, there seems to be a pleasing balance in the combination of straight and curving lines in this composition.
