Dandelions

When all else fails, shoot flowers. Actually one of those dull, flat, lifeless days as far as light goes - cloudy and gray. But good for portraits, even flower portraits.

  1. Well done. It's always very hard to get the focus perfect on dandelions, especially with such a narrow DoF. I zoomed in close to make sure! I presume the little fella stood dead still while you photographed him :)

    1. There was an ever so light breeze, and some movement of the tall stalks - I mean, they are "designed" to take advantage of the wind - but I think if you do it right, the camera only fires when the subject is in focus...

  2. Such beautiful flowers and often overlooked. I like them.

  3. Nice trio and it is always rewarding to go back to them once a year and explore what more we can find in them. At least that is what I try to achieve.
