Nice shot Mike, its something most people probably don't think , that people would fish in NYC. I know down on the FDR drive I use to see lots of men fishing on the weekends. Not sure if I would eat anything coming out of the East river or Hudson.
Knowing very little about NYC, it's good to be shown alternative images from the usual stereotypical city scenes that the vast majority of people shoot. I enjoy seeing what is just around the corner, and on the outskirts.
This is uptown Manhattan near the bridge. A lot of people fish here. Usually considered safe to eat in small quantities, like a few times per year, if you aren't pregnant.
