Here's a full view of the facade, Behind it is the bar/restaurant counter. The Bike path runs along behind that, the facade faces the river and piers. In Summer the space in front is filled with outdoor tables umbrellas.
Hey Mike, I like how you are adding people to your images... very nice.. it looks cold in NYC
ReplyDeleteAre you sure there is a building behind this facade. Its so flat it looks a bit like the old western facades with a second floor facade than the wooden cabin behind really was. Nevertheless quit good pictured in its graphical flatness. I like it.
ReplyDeleteI must admit I have seen it wrong. Its just a fence sign . Well a bit trouble with my eyesight for sure, but still a great picture and it put me on a wrong leg.
ReplyDeleteI appreicate the architectural thought which has gone into this facade. Very modern and clean, although I imagine it looks much better in the summer when it is busy outside with customers.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I'm starting to get comfortable with pointing the camera upward as if I'm taking a picture of the tall buildings, then at the last second reframing to include the people. It's a start...
