It's a double-edged sword. The "organizers" want lots of video & photographic presence to keep the police honest, to the extent possible. Also there was an incident earlier this past week in which a right wing activist incited violence at an occupy protest in Washington - there's a photo of him essentially in the act, and he's publicly admitted to it, apparently with no fear of being prosecuted for what is essentially a crime.
On the other hand, there are likely police, FBI, and CIA agents pouring over flickr looking for something - not sure these days what the software is capable of doing with so much photographic data...
Your reportage on this big demo has been really interesting. Apart from the good photography, it has got me reading up about the whole thing on the news web pages. (this has not really been covered so much on UK television news).
Great shots but i sometimes wonder where all this photo's are finding their final resting place.
