George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal

The terminal is undergoing major renovations at the street level, Looks promising. Here's a street level shot showing how decrepit it is now.

  1. Me gusta que el ave rompa esta simetría casi perfecta...

  2. It appears while decrepit, the structure does have some stylish elements (an art deco influence?). Glad to see they're renovating and not removing some of these vestiges from the past.

    1. It has potential, I'm just not a big fan of concrete structures - drab and depressing in general.

  3. Strong one again . A pity the bird is not a plane. Made it still stronger I guess.

    1. Probably right if I could get a plane oriented in the direction of the bird, but the planes flying out of NY are going the opposite direction. I have a shot with a plane and it just doesn't look right for that reason.

  5. Fine symmetry here, Michael, and well emphasised by the shadow and the seagull. The latter is the icing on the cake!

  6. Concrete is usually not a beloved material but could be one in a couple of constructions as here.
